Hi, I’m Patrick

I grew up in a small town in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia hours outside of Washington DC somewhat isolated from the rest of the world. A unexpected life changing circumstance had me move to London, England when I was in high school. This is where traveling for me began. I caught the travel bug and it has stayed with me ever since. The experience quite frankly not only changed my trajectory, it changed me. My eyes opened to a great big world full of cultures and people that were so different from myself and people I knew. I loved, and still do, every second of that aspect of travel.

I worked hard to make it as a TV and Film Director. Little did I know a side benefit it would offer after years struggling and making it in the business that I love and am fortunate to work in. In the end, my chosen career actually fulfilled two passions. The first naturally being storytelling and capturing beauty through the art of both film and still photography. The second being my love of travel. Ironically and thankfully, my work has taken me on shoots all over the world thru the years and has only fueled my desire to see more of it during my time off.

The destinations are only part of the story…it’s definitely the adventures, experiences and people met along the way that enrich the journey. Ultimately, this is what encouraged me to begin sharing many of my destinations and adventures I’ve experienced with you. 

I’m also here as a guide to help inspire you as you seek out your next travel experience. My weekly blog posts offer tips and tricks I’ve discovered during my travels, including my take and adventures experienced at some of the most luxurious destinations on the planet from hotels, restaurants, cruises, spas and more. Plus my Vlog on my YouTube channel offer up video highlights for more in depth visual inspiration.
