Coachella weekends. Art Basel Miami. The US Open. Sundance. Aspen ski season. The trips our audience plans first deserve flights that match — not the TSA line at LAX.
Aero is the semi-private aviation service — and full private charter partner — we recommend for the routes our readers actually fly. From $725 to Napa, $1,950 to Aspen, $5,495 to Maui — out of LA via Van Nuys (VNY), the small-airport experience without the wait. Custom charters available from any origin for groups, milestone trips, or routes Aero doesn't fly scheduled.
Note: Aero is a semi-private aviation service with limited refund flexibility. Pricing varies by date and demand. 5 Star Travel Guru earns commission on flown bookings.

The Lounge that returning regulars treat as a NYC living room. The new Silk Road speakeasy where Wednesday belongs to live jazz. The Top Pick of the year.
Two weeks. Two sailings. The world's first Forbes Five-Star restaurant at sea — and the most extraordinary ship we have encountered in decades of travel.
The Savoy ballroom at prom. Four Seasons Trinity Square. Primrose Hill at midnight. A love letter to the city that was never supposed to be mine.
Where a chieftain threw the Norse gods into the torrent — and Iceland changed forever.
Sunset Tower Hotel — the Tower Bar, Dimitri, and why Hollywood's most powerful room only gets better with time.
A private balloon over Avignonesi — and the red wine that changed everything

Around the World
The Guru
It started in London, at 15. A boy from the Shenandoah Valley — in the Blue Ridge Mountains of rural Virginia — visiting his mother at the American Embassy. What happened instead was a permanent shift in everything he understood about the world. He moved there. Travelled Europe through high school. Relocated to Hollywood. Never stopped.
