Oh Captain, My Captain!

We are literally hanging out, on backward “ART” (the statue) with the coolest Ship Captain and Master of Vessels in all the fleets of cruise ships we’ve ever had the privilege to sail on with Captain Kate McCue on Celebrity Summit.

Wit, charm, charisma, commanding presence, and elegance all wrapped into one dynamic individual that clearly has immense respect from her senior officers and crew.

Kudos to Celebrity Cruises for selecting the best captain for the job. Since our previous sailing on Celebrity Summit a few years ago, many upgrades from Celebrity’s Solstice Class ships were added along with a few unique previews of new venues and events to come across the fleet.

Along with lavish upgrades, Captain McCue has created a warm environment with a very happy crew that is clear to guests when they come onboard.
