Start your Rodeo Drive shopping experience at the Rodeo Drive Steps. It is the finest place to shop for luxury. Every big name is on display for you from Cartier and Versace, to Chanel and Vera Wang. If you are in town for Father's day, the annual Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance occurs is held here, displaying some of the world’s most expensive automobiles. It's considered one of the "300 Unmissable Events & Festivals Around the World".
The Grill on the Alley is a traditional go-to for power lunches with a typical steakhouse menu. They make a great martini and the service is impeccable. The not-so-well kept secret about this place is that it is a place to see and be seen. Well-recognized Hollywood stars are regulars; in fact, locals have labeled it "where Hollywood eats". If you're not into this scene, there's always The Palm, Mastro's, and CUT to satisfy your need for a 5 Star steak. Spago and La Scala are also nearby.
The cool kids are at a little hidden gem not far from The Peninsula is Nerano. It's intimate, inviting, and sports a lively crowd. The Amalfi Coast-inspired menu by chef Michele Lisi contains plenty of seafood and BG Lounge upstairs is an even more hidden gem serve beautiful cocktails. If Asian-fusion is what you're hungry for, don't miss the very glamorous Crustacean Beverly Hills on Bedford.
