In Part 3 and a final installment on this months “Italy’s Hidden Gems” is just a taste of things to come. In 2017, I will dedicate an entire month of special posts around this mysterious and breathtaking city of Venezia (Venice, Italy) home of today’s post.

First I’ll share a tip. One thing to consider when traveling to Europe, especially Italy, is AIR CONDITIONING. When you go in summer months, it can be extremely hot and we have found many hotels or villas lack powerful air conditioning if you are lucky enough to even get it.
